Objectives

  2. the exchange of experience and best practices among the current and potential programme’s stakeholders;
  3. networking among different potential actors of "Europe for citizens" programme.
2014

January 2014 - First online meeting between partner.

April 2014 - Information session, meeting between partners and exchange of good practices in Belgium.

May 2014 - Information session, meeting between partners and exchange of good practices in Sweden.

June 2014 - Information session, meeting between partners, exchange of good practices and creation of a Platform in Portugal.

September 2014 - Information session, meeting between partners and exchange of good practices in France.

October 2014 - Information session, meeting between partners and exchange of good practices in Italy.

Novembre 2014 - Information session, meeting between partners, exchange of good practices and creation of a Platform in Slovenia.

December 2014 - Online meeting with partners and conclusion of the project.

23/10/2014 – Ljubljana : Europe4All ! European exchange platform

ENSIE promoted the "Europe for citizens" programme and its measure "citizens' project" among Work Integration Social Enterprises, their national/regional networks and their stakeholders, the exchange of experience and best practices among the current and potential programme’s stakeholders and the networking among different potential actors of "Europe for citizens" programme. Further possibilities of partnership were debated and a matchmaking platform will be published on ENSIE's website in order to allow its members build and submit new projects

22/10/2014, in Ljubljana, took place the 6th national information session:

During the Slovenian information session the participants, managers, social workers and disadvantaged workers were informed about the Europe for citizens programme. In the second part of the conference, 3 local WISEs and their workers shared best practices of citizenship and empowerment and debated about the public policies and the role of social enterprises in the policy-making process.

10/10/2014 - The 5th Europe4All! national information session in Genoa, Italy

The 5th Europe4All! national information session on the Europe for Citizens programme was followed by a debate with the participants and the representative of the REVES - European Network of Cities and Regions for the social economy, during a bigger event, the Biennale delle Prossimitta promoted by   Rete Nazionale per la Prossimità -  the national network for "proximity",  a network of organizations that share the goal of developping together proximity and citizenship initiatives and  foster public reflection on these issues.

3/09/2014 - The 4th Europe4All ! national information session took place in Dublin

ENSIE's Europe4All! project officer insured an  information session about the Europe for Citizens Programme. A debate about participation, citizenship and empowerment of disadvantaged groups took place, the participants shared their experience about the current situation and discussed the situation of the work integration social enterprises and other actors of the activation programmes. In the morning session, 17 unemployed persons (young people, lone parents and older disadvantaged people) discussed the EU programme context (ESF) of supports for assisting them towards employment, especially the activation methodologies of the Local Employment Service, the Youth Guarantee programme and the Tús Internship Programme for social enterprises. 3 facilitators enabled comparisons between programme values and participant experiences to raise understanding of the impact of EU policies in supporting their progression.

In the afternoon session, organized  at the Dublin City Council, reprezentatives of public authorities and local employment Pacts presented good practices of citizenship and active participation and exchanged  on the possibility of building projects at the European level within the framework of the Europe for Citizens Programmme.

5.06.2014 – Porto / EU4ALL!: creation of the Europe4All ! platform

20 ENSIE members from 14 European countries (Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, along with 19 Portuguese representatives of the WISEs (disadvantaged workers and managers) and of the Portuguese public authorities participated to the Europe4All exchange  day. After  the information session on the Europe for Citizens program and the financing opportunities it offers to European transnational projects, a round table was the occasion for the participants to exchange good practices of citizenship and empowerment in the European WISEs.

An exchange platform around the possibility to build “Europe for citizens” financed project was created following the interactive networking exercise in which the participants worked in 4 groups to identify common interest areas and concrete ideas for projects. A google group online was created after the meeting in order to facilitate further exchanges. 

4.06.2014– Porto / EU4ALL!: Portuguese information session

The representatives (managers and social workers) of the work integration social enterprises, members of RESIT - Portuguese Network of Work Integration Social Enterprises, along with their disadvantaged workers and their stakeholders: support organizations, the representatives of municipalities and local authorities in charge of employment, training and social affairs attended the national information session about the program Europe for the Citizens, followed by a round table in order to:

  • exchange with the participants on the possibility of building projects at the European level within the framework of this program;

  • share best practice of citizenship and promotion of the participation of the workers in their enterprises and in society;

  • make a current situation and discuss the situation of the work integration social enterprises in Portugal around 3 themes: analyze the practices of the work integration in Portugal, identify tools for measuring the impact and the results of the work integration, how to work together and networking

15.05.2014 - The second Europe4All ! national information session took place in Goteborg, Sweden on the 15th of May 2014.

Organized with the occasion of the second European Social Franchising Network Conference, that was held on May 14th, the Swedish information session about the Europe for Citizens Programme gathered workers from several groups of work integration social cooperatives that shared their citizenship and empowerment initiatives for disadvantaged workers, as well as stakeholders and public authority partners. 

23.04.2014 - Belgium national session

During the morning session, the participants, managers, social workers and disadvantaged workers from Belgian WISEs were trained to the Europe for Citizens programme; a round table took place after the information session and the participants exchanged information and good practices. The afternoon session was dedicated to case-studies about European citizenship and networking and partnership opportunities; the guests presented best practices and practical information on becoming more involved as a European citizen: - Ms Raphaëlla D’Amico, Europe Direct, Province de Liège - European raising awareness tools - Mr Roberti Xavier, Groupe Terre -  RE : Dialogues project, WISEs, citizenship and participation of the disadvantaged groups - Ms Fannette Duschene, ASBL Promotion et Culture – Tools for promoting Europe - Mr Joseph Bertrand, European Parliament, Communication Directorate General - The European Parliament and the European Citizens A round table allowed the participants to ask questions, share their experiences and present partnership opportunities.
