Great news!!! The European Parliament has, finally adopted its list of parliamentary Intergroups for the next term. Intergroups can be formed by MEPs from any political group and any committee, with a view to holding informal exchanges of views on particular subjects and promoting contact between members and civil society.

ENSIE is delighted to learn that the Social Economy Intergroup has been renewed. ENSIE, its members and Social Economy Europe have been working hard in the last months to make this intergroup recognized. The Intergroup is crucial for the acknowledgment and the development of Social Economy in Europe in the next year. It will be also central in the implementation of the Social Economy Action plan announced by the European Commission as one of the key policies for Nicolas Schmit, the new Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights.

Intergroupe Economie Sociale

Bonne nouvelle!!! Le Parlement Européen a enfin adopté la liste des Intergroupes parlementaires pour la prochaine législature. Les intergroupes peuvent être constitués par des députés appartenant à tout groupe politique et à toute commission parlementaire en vue de tenir des échanges de vue informels sur des thèmes particuliers et de promouvoir des députés et la société civile.

ENSIE est ravi d’apprendre que l’intergroupe Economie Sociale a été renouvelé. En effet, cela fait de nombreux mois qu’ENSIE œuvre, avec ses membres et avec Social Economy Europe pour faire reconnaître cet Intergroupe. Ce dernier est crucial pour la reconnaissance et le développement de l’économie sociale en Europe dans les prochaines années. Il sera important pour la mise en place du Plan d’action européen pour l’économie sociale, qui fait partie des missions de Nicolas Schmit, le nouveau commissaire à l’Emploi et aux Droits Sociaux.
