Social Economy for the future of the European Union

13-02-2019

On Wednesday, February 6th, European representatives and stakeholders of social economy gathered at the European Economic and Social Committee. A general overview was provided on great progress to recognise social economy as a part of economic and social growth. This conference was the opportunity to present the European social economy’s magnitude, to remind the need to implement a global action plan and to mention the future objectives and challenges. Xavier Roberti (RES) made a statement during this conference. Among other things, he underlined how important WISEs are to strengthen disadvantaged people and how WISEs can establish a stronger society.
