In the framework of the WISEs for digital Upskilling project, WISE Up, a short-term joint staff meeting training took place in Barcelona, Spain, between February 21st and 25th. The training was organised by Formacio i Treball and focused on "Digital education for low skilled adults and regional experience of WISEs in Spain".
19 job coaches, staff and managers of the work integration social enterprises from each project Partner actively took part to this training in order to share their know-know helping each other to develop innovative practices, adapt existing one and organize themselves for the implementation of new curricula, courses, and accompanying learning materials and tools for adult learners from vulnerable groups.
Among them, two were part of ENSIE network participated to the training, IDC from Serbia represented by Miodrag Nedeljkovic and Sonido, from Latvia, member of SUAL represented by Inga Muižniece. The latter wrote us a feedback on this workshop :
"Thank you for giving you the opportunity to participate in the event. It was very valuable for me to see the ambition with which job integration companies operate, helping the labour market while doing business. Thank you for the material that helps WISE to develop employees skills. As well as thank you very much in the insight into the circular economy, which we still have in Latvia only at the beginning stage."
The purpose of this training was to offer a better understanding of each other's approaches and integration pathways and to facilitate mutual sharing and development of products which are relevant to each of the three countries and combine in the most effective way the experience and knowhow from all participating organizations. The short-term joint staff training had been extremely well balanced between study visits of different WISEs in Barcelona, seminars and round tables on the following topics:

Seminar with FEICAT about regional (Catalonia) experience of WISEs presented by Mr. Esteve Ferrer. The approached subjects of the seminar were: legal framework of WISEs in Catalunia, how are financed, social clauses, reserved contracts.

Seminar about Circular Economy presenter by Mr. Miquel Vidal. The seminar tried to answer to the following questions: Do low skilled adults need digital competencies for current jobs in the Circular Economy models? How can WISEs that are part of Circular Economy help low skilled adults in upskilling for the actual labor market?

Seminar presented by Mrs Laia Ferré on Regional sustainability experience of Formació i Treball of selling products / services to 'ordinary companies'

Round table of good practices: Good WISEs’ practices in adult learning. Digital education for low skilled adults and regional experience of WISEs in Spain, France, Romania and other European countries. Sharing experiences and practices among participants.
Also, during the training, the 19 participants had tested some pedagogic materials on Basic digital Skills and e-learning materials on Job coach training and tools sharing on skills assessment, life and job coaching, and designing and implementing work integration programmes. Their input had been integrated on the development of final stage of the two intellectual materials of the project.
