The SocialTech4EU project consortium gathered online on the 20th of February for a steering committee meeting. The Innovation Journey has now really started with the launch of the survey, the invitation to the registry for stakeholders, the open call for social enterprises and linked to that the info call.
The partners discussed the state of play of the different calls and invitations: who has already applied and how will we proceed? Each step in this project is crucial as it will play into further steps. For example, the registry of training providers, higher education institutions, research organisations, tech providers, incubators and accelerators will be the main source for selected social enterprises to tackle their training needs and spend the financial support they will get for this. Secondly, only the selected social enterprises that will receive financial support for training will be able to join the next stages of the project, namely they will be able to apply and compete for additional financial support in 2023 and 2024 for:
- Innovation: up to €20.000 for each selected organisation (up to 20 social enterprises).
- Acceleration: up to €35.000 for each selected organisation (up to 10 social enterprises).
Moreover, the consortium discussed how to scale up exchange and collaboration with other Euroclusters as identifying synergies is crucial for all Euroclusters.
