ENSIE actively participated at the Annual Convention for Inclusive Growth 2018. The convention was organised by DG Employment and took on the 27th of April in Brussels. The Convention focused on the implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights.
ENSIE hosted a thematic table on “Equal access to labour markets” in the framework of the social economy and social enterprises workshop at the ACIG 2018. The discussions in thematic tables was organised around the following questions:

What social economy and social enterprises can deliver that others cannot or under which kind of conditions they can deliver better than others?

What evidence and examples there are about social economy delivering for better price and therefore contributing to sustainability of welfare systems?

What are the advantages of social economy and social enterprises in terms of quality of services or quality of employment?

What is the broader societal added value of active social economy?
