On October, 29th, ENSIE proposed, alongside Oxfam IT a webinar in the framework of EUSES, Online exchange events “Digital road to Mannheim”, in specific in the framework of the working day “Leaving no one behind - Employment, upskilling and social inclusion in the changing world of work“.
The purpuse of the webinar was to share examples of successful experiences in the promotion of laws on policies on social enterprises as well as new evolutions and developments in the field from the East (Moldovia and Serbia) and the South of Europe (Tunisia). The session has been an opportunity for a North-South-East dialogue between ENSIE, and MedUp!, a project funded by the EU and implemented by Oxfam Italy, promoting social entrepreneurship in the MENA Region. The panel included speakers from the interested geographical regions who shared examples of successful and less successful experiences in the promotion of laws on policies on social enterprises as well as new evolutions and developments in the field. This allowed the participants to explore how conducive policy environments can sustain social economy as an innovative solution to ensure economic inclusiveness and employment, which is proving as an increasingly challenging theme on either side of the Mediterranean.
