European Seminar on Social Impact Measurement Practices
Open to public
During this seminar, participants will have the opportunity to discover the updates and activities concerning social impact measurement also considering the developments indicated in the Social economy action plan.
An expert from the OECD will present the work done by the organisation in the framework of the “Global Action: Social Impact Measurement for the Social and Solidarity Economy”. Later on, an expert from the European Commission working on support measures development for social impact measurement and management to assist social economy actors in the EU, will present the EU’s ongoing and upcoming initiatives related notably to the Social Economy Action Plan. ENSIE’s impact measurement tool (“Impact-WISEs”) and the latest results of the study underlining the positive impact of WISEs to the employment of vulnerable people will be presented. Topics related to the importance of measuring the social impact for WISEs, challenges that they face to collect data etc. will be shared as well. In addition, results interesting for public authorities will be presented as the study includes some variables allowing to demonstrate the return on the investments done by public authorities to WISEs. ENSIE will show that public authorities financial support into the integration of people in WISEs is an investment in an inclusive and prosperous future for vulnerable groups (and not a cost).
In addition to the EU level impact measurement study, ENSIE’s Spanish member FAEDEI will present a local impact measurement tool and data on the integration of vulnerable groups into the labour market by WISEs in Spain.
Finally, ENSIE will also launch its WISEs workers’ messages campaign focused this year on their skills acquisition and opportunities to improve them.
