Work Integration Social Enterprises (WISEs) are enterprises whose main objective is the social and professional integration of workers with support needs. They are at the core of the economic system and include a strong pedagogical dimension. Workers with support needs can be long-term unemployed, persons with disabilities, older persons, migrants, NEETS and other groups who are more at risk to be excluded from the labour market.
Following their diversity and their various targets, they are very heterogeneous as is their need for skills and level of digitalisation. Indeed, some WISEs are pioneers regarding digitalisation & fostering digital skills, but this know-how is not mainstreamed across Europe. As the use of digital technologies is spreading in WISEs and digital technologies are evolving, the speed at which workers develop digital skills is unequal.
Join us in the Digital skills for the Work Integration Social Enterprises of tomorrow event to learn more about how the B-WISE project will respond to the skills challenges of the WISEs sector.
The event will be held the 14thOctober 11am-13pm at the EU Thon Hotel, in Brussels. For more information, please find the programme just after.

The event will be in conjunction with EASPD’s 25th Anniversary Conference ‘The future is now: Person Centred Technology to empower people and disability services,’ and ENSIE’s 20th anniversary.
